The Township of King provided grants to the Stewardship in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture provides support of public events with park equipment, staff support and printing. The fall of 2006 the Township accepted operational management of Cold Creek Forest & Wildlife Area from TRCA. | |

Toronto and Region Conservation owns the Cold Creek property, promoted the formation of the Stewardship Committee, have provided property management supervision until 2007, provided financial contributions for habitat restoration and community outreach activities plus head office staff support of our meetings and public events. | |

Ontario Trillium Foundation awarded the Cold Creek Stewardship Collaborative, through the Township of King, a three year grant to restore buildings and the bog boardwalk in 2007 and support recreational and educational programmes in 2008 and 2009. | |

York Region’s – Water for Tomorrow programme provided a grant to develop and maintain a demonstration perennial flower garden using a “low-water” selection of species. The garden is located at the head of the hiking trail at the main gate. |
