
Cold Creek Info
Cold Creek Conservation is owned by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and managed and operated by the Township of King Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. It is located on the 11th Concession, South of the 16th Side Road spanning 190 hectares within the Humber River Watershed. The Area offers 6.5 Kilometers of hiking trail along with a vast amount of ecologically diverse and sustainable natural area.
Cold Creek is host to a variety of hiking trails, a high and low ropes course, rock climbing wall, summer camp, fall, winter and spring recreation programs, and educational programs.
Hiking Trails
Cold Creek Conservation Area has 6.5kms of natural hiking trails through hardwood forests, pine plantations, coniferous wetlands and a bog walk available all season long. Trail access is open to the public from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Programs

The Township of King offers a variety of recreation camps and programs and are currently expanding our programs further for members of the public.
Outdoor Education
The Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is hosting, throughout the year, a series of curriculum based education, public and summer camp programs that will include everything from nature appreciation and interpretation to outdoor recreational activities and skills.

Our Next Event:

High/Low Ropes
The high/low ropes course offers experiential education requiring the participant to take initiative, make decisions, and be accountable for the results. This course is ideal for leadership and team building workshops or seminars. The ropes course consists of challenging elements such as a three-line bridge, catwalk, spider web, nitro swing and more!

Visitors Centre:
- Local Residents : $162.00 for 8 hours
- Non-Local Residents : $178.00 for 8 hours
- Additional Hours: $25.00/hour
Education Centre:
- Local Residents: $240.00 for 8 hours
- Non Local Residents: $264.00 for 8 hours
- Additional Hours: $30.00/hour
Pavillion:
- 8 hours for $50.00
Grounds:
- Special event fee $100.00 for 8 hours
Site Rate:
- All buildings plus grounds: $650.00 for 8 hours
Buildings and the ropes course are available for private rentals at Cold Creek for all types of groups
