Visit Cold Creek anytime to enjoy over 7km of marked nature trails. Cold Creek Conservation Area is a 190 hectare natural area located in the upper headwaters of the Humber River that is managed by the Township of King. This ecologically significant area is home to a wide array of plant and animal species. The property contains a mixed coniferous swamp ecosystem that includes the rare black spruce tree species. Cold Creek has a variety of trails to explore with varying difficulties, slopes, lengths and natural features. Explore several different ecosystems on each trail! Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are available in the winter with rentals available on site.
Users must assess their own technical ability in combination with their own fitness level, before making a choice to enter onto any trail. Trail conditions can change at any time.
